Mscore 2.0.1 won't save preferences in Xubuntu 14.0.4
I have been using mscore 2.0.1 in Xubuntu 14.0.4 for some time now - with great success. However, today for some unknown reason it has stopped saving the start up preferences (continue last session, no splash screen, custom scores folder, etc). There is also no recent files list.
The problem seemed to start when I was creating an autostart shell script to load Cadence, Transcribe! and Musescore in that order with sufficient 'wait' calls so that Cadence had a chance to start before the others were loaded (so that they produced the required sound output). The script works fine - all the programs are loaded and sound output is OK.
The problem also occurs when I start mscore from the terminal. I have tried removing mscore and reinstalling to no avail.
I would appreciate any help and guidance.
Thanks

Are you passing in any command line options? How about if you run with "-F" to reset with factory defaults - and then of course, remove the "=F" for subsequent runs or it will keep resetting!

Nice one!
I ran with "-F" as suggested, saved my preferences and reloaded all my work files and bingo! - everything now works fine.
Thanks for your very prompt help.
