Bug Report: Dots Visible on Repeat in Hidden Staff
Bug: Under certain conditions, the dots of a repeat in a hidden staff are still visible, both within MuseScore and in any generated PDFs. A screenshot showing this behavior is below.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a new score in MuseScore.
- In the Instruments window (Edit -> Instruments), add two "Piano" instruments and remove any other instruments. Both Pianos should have two staves.
- Add a repeat to the first measure and add some notes to both bass clef staves within that measure.
- In the "Edit Style" window (Style -> General -> Score), select "Hide Empty Staves" and unselect "Don't hide empty staves in first system." Click OK.
At this point, the wayward dots should be visible. Note that the bug only appears when notes are in the bass clef on the bottom staff. That is, the dots are not visible when notes are in the treble clef but not in the bass cleff on the bottom system.
I have attached a test file that demonstrates this behavior.
Relevant Information:
The screenshot above was taken on an up-to-date Arch Linux system, although I've also experienced this behavior in Mac OS X Yosemite. The bug is present both in MuseScore 2.0.1 and in 2.1.0 revision 3543170 (which I built from source today to take the provided screenshot).
If there is any other information you need, I will be more than happy to provide it. Thank you for your time.

Interesting bug! Yes, I can confirm. I have filed this officially as #67621: Repeat dots show on hidden / empty staves for multi-staff instruments.
