Varying volume between clefs?
Hi there...I'm new to the forum and to MuseScore. Is there a way to increase/decrease the volume of one clef without affecting the other? The melody of the song I am transcribing is played in the bass clef with the left hand and my accompanying right hand chords are drowning it out.

Try the mixer. Read all about it in the handbook Change and adjust sounds

I read this, and tried the mixer, but I can't get it to work between the bass and treble clef, only between different staves for different instruments.

Substitute those for a Grand Staff.

It's already written on a grand staff...is there even a function for this?
Edit: Just to clarify...I'm working on a grand staff, treble and bass, but I need to bring the bass volume up and the treble down.

A grand staff is only one instrument and the Mixer works on instrument.
You can create a new score with two piano instruments and remove the bass clef staff for the first one and the treble clef one for the second one. Then add a bracket from the bracket palette. You'll have two instruments.
See attached template.
