Odd things happen with Drum notation
I have been following the "How to create jazz drum notation" instructions.
Have done the exchange Voice 1 - 3
Anyways, when adjusting the vertical offset, the heads of the notes move (fine) but the stem stays put.
Very bizarre.
Is it just me (again) or have others found similar?

Let's start by making sure you are looking at a good set of isntructions for 2.0 & later:

I guess you are looking at the very end. Note it specifically says to change the *Chord* vertical offset. Otherwise, it indeed only affects the notehead.
BTW, the last sentence is out of date - the default for percussion staves is for these notes to *not* float above the staff. Normally, you wouldn't want to mess with that - it's standard in drum notation for this sort of notation to sit directly on the staff. On in standard (non-percussion) staves would rhythmic slash notation need to float above, and this happens automatically, although you may indeed change the degree to which it floats.

Marc, yes that was the instruction I was following. ...or not as you point out! Thanks yet again.
ps, how easy is it now to add accents and fill with slashes! Fab work all you Musescore elves.
