No playback

I recently did a revert to factory settings because i accidentally loaded the old marching percussion fonts the wrong way into 2.0
When i create a score, it wont let me click any of the playback buttons(the ones between page view and concert pitch).
I also cant do playback in musescore 1.3

If you can't do playback in either version, it seems maybe something is wrong with your drivers or hardware. What operatings system? What options do you see selected in Edit / Preferences / I/O? Hce you tried rebooting?
