Creating stick notation / invisible note heads? SOLVED
Hi,
I'm a Kodaly practitioner and I want to be able to write my scores in stick notation- ie write crotchets and quavers/quaver ties with no note head. Is there a way to do this? I've looked to make the note head invisible or turn it off, but I cannot find that function!
Help appreciated, thanks!
Emma

You can make any element invisible by selecting it and pressing "V", or turning off the "Visible" option in the Inspector. To set an entire score to have invisible note heads, press Ctrl+A to select all, press "Notes" in the Inspector to limit the selection to just the notes (or, right click one note, Select / All similar elements), then press "V" or uncheck "Visible".

Do you know how to create a time signature that e has a number over a note? Like a 4 over a quarter note?

The easiest way is probably to select the time signature and press V and then to use symbols from the Z palette and a text to recreate it. See attached file.
