Alternating time signatures
Is it possible to write a score which alternates times signatures without having to change it in every measure?
Like the picture (it's from West Side Story's Tonight (Quintet).
As you can see, the time signature is "4/4 2/4", which means it alternates between 4/4 and 2/4. I don't know if this is obvious/common since I'm not experient with musical notation, but I wanted to know if it's possible to reproduce that kind of writing in musescore.
Thanks!

but I think a work around is a single time signature, in 6.

6/4 seems indeed a better solution. If you insist to have the same time signature than in the printing you can achieve this by changing the actual duration of measures and introduce a fake time signature on the first measure.
