Tuplet bracket does not follow slope of note heads
By default, tuplet notation is getting its slope (up, down, or horizontal) based on the note stem, rather than the note head. This is confusing to the eyes as notes cross from A to B on the treble clef, for example. The notes may be rising, while the tuplet line is declining. This is messing me up while playing, because my eyes are seeing a downward slope (from the tuplet), when I am supposed to be playing rising notes. I have attached a screenshot of the issue.
I recommend that, by default, tuplets should get their slope (up, down, or horizontal) based on the note head, rather than the note stem.
Sure, each user who encounters this situation could edit each confusing tuplet if they notice the issue, but most won't. Instead, they will produce sheet music that is less than visually optimal for their readers.
I am using MuseScore 0.9.6.3 on Windows XP. I originally reported this in the Support & Bug Reports forum, but I guess it belongs here instead.

Sibelius (top) matches the behavior of MuseScore, Lilypond (middle) has a level bracket, Finale (bottom) follows the slope of the note heads.
I would be fine with level brackets, which may be the easiest to do programmatically. After all, there are already lots of horizontal lines in music notation already. That's what Wikifonia is doing, because it uses Lilypond.
I just opened one of my Hal Leonard music books (The Easy Sixties Fake Book, page 118) and found that it has the tuplet slope match that of the note heads, which I think is the most intuitive for readers.
