Comparing the "Called as Partners" .gif & mscz's that are attached, is there any way to
1. Get the numbering that begins each lyric in the first system to shift further to the left, to be more like the gif.?
2. Get the lyrics that begin each system (after the first) to left-justify so that they all align (like the gif.)?
3. Remove the barline at the end of each system (like the gif.)?
And in the "O for a Thousand Tongues" gif.,
4. Is there a way to insert a mid-measure line break, similar to the attached gif.?
Thanks,

- Double-click (between the point and the first letter);
hold down Alt and use the space bar.
- Use Inspector.
- Double-click to use the handles.
- I did not understand (and I do not speak English) :(
1] Use the Inspector to adjust the horizontal spacing of the notes (about -4) and of the lyrics (about -5); vary it for each note maybe to get better alignment.
2] Doable *right-click and change the text properties), just but a bit messy, I agree. Is it necessary?
3] Seek not to remove the barline but, instead, seek to change its behaviour. Look in the Inspector for "Spanned Staves".
4] Yes. Make it two bars (2/2 and 1/2) and hide the barline.
1. CTRL-Space instead of ALT-Space (maybe due to keyboard differences) was easy & effective. (I'm not sure why the 1st system acts differently than the rest, they all default to center-justify.)
2. I had never noticed the option in text properties to left-justify, but that fixed it and was painless.
3. Changing the "spanned staves" in the Inspector from 2 to 1 produced the desired result.
4. Changing the measure length & making the barline invisible works, although you need to set it up in advance or notes & lyrics already entered will be lost when you change the measure count length.
Thanks very much!

Regarding 4, there is a new (to 2) way of doing it and that is to click on a note and then go to the Menu and choose Edit ->Bar -> Split Bar. Then add the line break. This preserves the lyrics. You may wish to make one of the "new" bars not count (right-click, Bar Properties -> Exclude from bar count).
