Selecting one voice out of the 2 in a staff
so, i downloaded this score, which i want to split this staff into two, because there are two voices in one staff. here you can see it is a mess

What mess? I only see one staff, with 2 voices, nothing has been spilt tere.
Just copy the entirte staff to a 2nd staff, there Exchange voice 1 and 2, then select all staves, select voice 2 in the selection filter (or rather deselect everything else) and delete

maybe i phrased it bad. it looks weird in the main score, and there are 2 voices. sorry for confusion, but thanks for the help
