pressing space bar when slur is blue crashes program
Using MuseScore 0.9.6.3 in Windows XP:
A consistent crash of MuseScore can be accomplished by:
- open MuseScore
- click once on slur in first measure of demo song to turn it blue
- press the space bar once.
If you instead double click on the slur to edit its properties, pressing the space bar will not crash the program.
Comments
I'm not able to reproduce the crash using the zero key on Nightly r. 3597 (Windows 7)
Crash is limited to the 0.9.6.x series.
> zero key
Do you mean the space bar, or did you try to reproduce the crash with the "0" key because you are up too late? :-)
In the most recent nightly build, I see that the space bar is doing something different :-), and no crash occurs when the slur is blue (but not being edited) and the spacebar is pressed.
In Windows 7, MuseScore 0.9.6 and 0.9.6.3 are both behaving like MuseScore 0.9.6.3 on Windows XP.
Fixed in the branch r3600. You never know...
Craig, the zero key ("0") is the new default shortcut for entering rests as described here: #7425: Space bar for play/pause
