Additional Symbols
I'm using MuseScore version 0.9.6 revision 3145. From the toolbar click "Create", "Symbols". When the symbols window pops up, the upper left first three entries are the small numbers "8", "1", "5". These are very useful but a complete set of small numbers 0 thru 9 would be very useful. These symbols are fast and easy to use with their drag and drop capabilities and are easier to use than inserting numbers with the text function. Plus they are already the perfect size.

What about using the number in the fingering palette ?

They don't seem to attach to slash notation or graphic scores and no 7,8, 9.
What are you using the numbers for?

I've been working on a graphic score (indeterminate music) using MuseScore. It's a collection of piano music and I would like to specify the number of pitches (among other parameters) a performer is allowed to use at a particular point in time. It's extremely fast and consistent to use the drag and drop numbers in the Symbols box and drag them to the location approximating the register in which the 13 pitches will occur for example. The size of the existing small numbers is perfect already. They are also perfect for specifying the time in seconds that a group of "objects" will occur at any segment of the composition.

Just so you are aware, you can also use Staff Text and use the "MScore1" font to achieve the same looking numbers.
