I can confirm this bug,

I'm using musescore 09.6.3, Build 3507 from ubuntu/kxstudio repository.
1-I open a score with drum staff,
2-I click on drum staff
3-I press the N key to enter edit mode
4- I click once on a drum instrument in the left pannel (F9 pannel)
5- musescore crash

Here is the log from a mscore -d session :

I hope it can help, if someone has any workaround, I really need this function !

@daeavelwyn I can't reproduce this with 0.9.6.3. Is your score created from scratch ? if not can you try with a new score? If it's only with one score, can you attach it?

Ok,
Here are the scores I have some problem with.
In the first file, I have a measure at the end I can't remove.

In the seconde file (which is named 03) If you try to make a cut/paste from the measure 5, program will crash.

I've try exporting in xml and reopen, but problem is still there.

A little help would be really welcome !

daeavelwyn, I can't reproduce the crash with your first file (tested using Musescore 1.0pre1, Windows 7) your second score is corrupt, you will need to start over. If you are able to give steps to reproduce starting from a new score, please share (in a new topic, not this one).

In nightly build 4202, I get this same thing

Add Drum Staff, N, double click on a note in the drum toolbar and crash.
