Changing of instrumentation on the same staff?
Is it possible to change an instrument on a single staff. For example for a flute part to change over to a clarinet part on the same staff without changing a new staff. For instance where an electronic synthesizer part would require lots of instrument changes within one song or a mallet player that has to be able to interchange and play between the xylophone, glockenspiel and vibraphone (not simultaneously) in one work where the it can all be done on a single staff without it being necessary to insert new staffs.
Another question is; if it is possible to include the title (or part of it) on every page (in small) of the piece along with a page number?
Crescendos (hairpins) do not have any effect on the music. Am a doing something wrong or must I activate it somewhere for it to work?

Crescendos do not affect playback in 0.9.6.x or earlier but there is initial support in the latest nightly builds for the next major version of MuseScore.
The latest nightly builds also have initial support for page headers and footers.
Support for switching instruments on a single staff is on the "to do" list (see Milestones , "Ensemble"). The latest nightly builds allow the organ to switch stops.

I reviewed your latest nightly build. I particularly like the idea of the organ stops. Its just very confusing to work between the midi action and the aeolus stop tab. Would it be possible if you could combine the two so that when you change a stop the midi action happens automatically? I'm still not sure about the changing of the channels. Why there four?
The stops sound really good and its nice to actually here what it sounds like with combinations but would it be possible to add a 16' stop (bourdon/double diapason) to the manuals and a reed chorus (16', 8', 4') to one of the manuals (III)? A 8' Tuba stop would be nice on the "II" division. A voix celeste 8' would be appropriate on the "III" division.
What type of organ is this based on? Seems like baroque by studying the stops.
I understand that it only a "lab rat" but I can't seem to get it to play. It played once but that was it...
I was looking forward to hearing the 32' Bombarde but it doesn't sound 32' at all.
Can each staff be separate or must the user do that manually?

Sorry about criticizing about the 32' Bombarde. Being illiterate I just didn't set it right. It sounds absolutely amazing :D
I have tried and tested the nightly with organ stops. Think I have managed to figure out how to operate the settings and I am very impressed. I don't think there is ANY other note typing program that is capable of changing stops let alone making it sound like a real organ. The realistic sounds are great. I am so exited that I cannot wait until this feature is up and running.
The organ is quite soft and has to be turned up to its maximum to hear it clearly. The sounds seem to take a while before they can load. Thats probably why I assumed it doesn't want to play back. The program crashes half way during playback occasionally. I have included a small segment of my organ concerto displaying the possibility of an organ trio without having to insert three different organs.
