See the Handbook under "Soundfont".
Once you have read the handbook to see how to install them, a Google search should provide you with plenty of scope for experimentation.
I would start with the small list of soundfonts in the handbook, but be aware that high quality sound comes at the expense of larger files, so you may be better to avoid the "one size fits all" GM/GS soundfonts and opt for ones consisting of a few instruments.
