New to Musescore.... and lovin' it!!!

Just a general hello and a couple of comments

I've been using Sibelius for quite a while and I just haven't been very happy with it for quite a few reasons. (doesn't matter).... So as usual, I started digging for an alternative which I always find myself doing every few months or so to see what's new. Never any 'real' luck. So something made me finally check what the open source community has to offer. (Not really expecting much) SURPRISE!!

And WOW.... Musescore! Where have I been.This thing is FANTASTIC. I've been patient and have been working with it for a solid week now and am totally amazed. What a fantastic job being done with this app. Of course, there's my little wish list... but don't we all have that, with ANY software we use? Time usually takes care of these matters with an actively developed app and a great user community, which Musescore apparently has.

Anyway, for me, aside from lead sheets and piano arrangement, I create tons of learning worksheets for students which I like to have formatted with my picky demands... and I find that 98% of what I need can be accomplished with Musescore.

I'm going to try to attach a couple of .png files of a couple of sheets with formatting that's not so easily accomplished in Sib or Finale or etc. But once one gets a handle on, and past the not so difficult learning curve of Musescore, can quite easily and quickly done.

Thanks to the powers that be for a great program... and a great user community to which I hope I can make some sort of contribution to over time.
