Automatic bar creating at the end of piece during note entry

I'd like to have pieces automatically expanded when I reach the end typing notes in, so I wouldn't have to bother about how long my piece is going to be, when I create it. This would come in extremely handy when copying sheets from paper. I have one hand on the piano-keyboard, the other on the computer-keyboard and the eyes on the paper-sheet, typing longer sections without looking to the screen, only checking every now and then, if everything has gone right.

Nice to have, but not crucial, therefore priority minor.

The way I have solved this (I admit, a bit of a kludge) is to add an excessive number of bars when I first design the score. Then when I am done, I simply remove the excess bars.

Maybe we could add a mode for that, but definitely not by default.

This is being discussed in the forum. I agree there can be value. Right now we actually this on paste, but pretty much nothing else. It also comes up also with regard to the "R" command. I think it could be valuable as a program preference: "Automatically add measures as needed".
