Crashed, then no sound

I was listening to some of the demos, and started opening another demo while one was already playing (I do not know which songs they were). The program crashed. Upon restart of the program, there is no sound at all, and playback doesn't look like it's running either. I uninstalled/reinstalled, and there's still no sound/playback. Upon system restart, there is still no sound/playback in the program at all. I'm running Vista. I'd try to duplicate the problem, but I don't really know how. I'm using version 0.9.3. Thanks.
