Deleting a Line of Music But Leaving the Lyrics
I recently altered a piece for my choir in MuseScore, and I got requests for some of my members to have their individual parts in MuseScore so that they could practice. I didn't originally input the music with the four different parts build into the program, it seemed like a pain, so now I am not able to just simply have it play one voice and piano.
I didn't think it would be that big of a deal, until I can to making the bass and tenor parts. I have my lyrics tied to my soprano/alto parts, and so whenever I try to delete those parts to have a file with just the tenor or bass, it deletes the lyrics as well.
Is there a way to delete the soprano/alto part without deleting the music, or is there some way to copy the entire lyric line to the bass/tenor line. Its mostly the same, so I would only have to make minor changes to it.

Lyrics need to be attached to notes, so there is no way to delete the notes but leave the lyrics. You could make the notes invsibile (select them, press "V") but I'm guessing that's not what you want. Hard to say for sure, might help to see the score.
But you can certainly copy and paste lyrics. First select them (eg, right click one syllable, Select / All Similar Elements) then Ctrl+C, then click the first note of the passage you want to paste to, Ctrl+V.

Oh, I actually just fixed that. What I was trying to do was I was using Ctrl+L to start a lyric input on the bottom staff and then pasting. Turns out I didn't need to do that as you pointed out, I only needed to click on the note!
I feel a bit dumb now, but thanks, huge help!
