I need a help with sound!!! Please help me!!!

I have used musescore early this year without any problem until before summer.
However, when I came back to my work after September, I am having a problem with playing the sound.
Indeed, the sound from piano keyboard does not come out, even I tune up the play panel volume.

I searched a lot online and found out that I don't have the sound font in my laptop which I assume I had before. I am using mac, and in the application, there is an incomplete musescore app which is strange.

How can I solve this problem?
If there is a specific place to ask, I would really appreciate it.

I am eager to create music of my own! please!

As Shoichi says, the first thing to try is to start MuseScore with Revert to Factory settings - follow the link in his post.

If this doesn't fix it then come back here.

Hi, it took me so long to take this step.
I tried, but it still does not work.

When I download, I see musescore above musescore2 in my application file (I use mac)
When I try to open this, it says the file maybe damaged and does not let me open the file.
Do you think this is realted to this problem?

Even I put up the volume using play panel, the sound does not go on.

Do you have any ideas of a way to fix this?
