You can run MuseScore without audio out with
mscore -s
. It seems that you have a problem with your audio settings. In reply to You can run MuseScore without by [DELETED] 5
I have the same problem. Musescore starts with mscore -s but I can't open a new document since I need to add an instrument and those options are greyed out, I'm guessing because of the unknown audio settings problem. Any help with figuring out what settings needs to be changed would be greatly appreciated.
