Different dynamics in different staves
I am composing a sonata that is based on the major pentatonic scale.
First movement:
Exposition: F#
Development: C
Recapitulation: F#
Second movement:
Exposition: Bb
Development: F
Recapitulation: Bb
Third movement:
Rondo form in abacaba pattern like this:
G, F#, G, Bb, G, F#, G, C, G, F#, G, Bb, G, F#, G, F, G, F#, G, Bb, G, F#, G, C, G, F#, G, Bb, G, F#, G,
So anyway I am trying to get the right hand to be heard over the left. It defaults to mf on both staves and when I get the left hand to be quieter, even with a mf dynamic for the right hand, it defaults to being as quiet as the left hand.
So how can I get the right hand to be louder than the left hand?
