Yes would just like to be able to sync and audio file to the score easily like that.
Not sure why it's not in the current version, it would be very handy.

There is no turn key solution for the moment. If you are looking to synchronise two audio streams, such as like we did for the Well-Tempered Clavier (score midi>audio + musician recording) than you can use the Match plugin for the VAMP framework. MuseScore.com also features manual way to synchronize sheet music with YouTube videos. Simply link a video with a score and while the video plays, you tap on the space bar for each measure change. You can see all the videoscores at http://musescore.com/videoscores
