dal segno con rep.
Hello everybody,
is it able to insert "dal segno con rep. al fine" in Musescore (or is there a simliar expression?), so that the piece from segno also repeats the first and the second Volta and plays this in playback? When this doesn't work what are alternatives?

Musicians will understand your directions but MuseScore will not. There was, however, a similar question recently and I think the solution was to place a second, hidden DS and also change the Volta properties to allow for 1st, 2nd, 3rd time playing (I was the one who posted the solution but just can't remember the specifics of it). Have a go yourself but post the score if you have problems as it's always easier for others to see and experiment upon the actual score.

So this is what I've done:
- I inserted a second hidden "D.S.".
- I edited manually the text of "D.S. al fine" to "D.S. con rep. al fine"
- I edited the behaviour of the first Volta to repeat this one on the third time (rightclick, Volta properties)
I hope the band of my nephews will understand my direction ;-)
Maybe in future there will be an easier solution.
