Selecting Measure 16 of this musescore file will crash most recent stable and unstable versions of Musescore under Windows.
The uncompressed file is attached below. This is a conversion from a GPX format file - attached for reference.
Lasso select works fine.

The crash is because the score is corrupt, as MuseScore informs you when you try to load it. But I don't see this corruption if I simply open the GPX file then save. So something you did after importing the file must have triggered the corruption. Can you explain how to reproduce the problem starting from the GPX file?

Status (old) needs info ⇒ closed

This issue is one year old. Opening the GPX doesn't make a corrupted file.
The MSCX is quite different from the GPX. We cannot do much. I close this issue. Reopen with more info if needed.
