Is there a free GOOD Shakuhachi soundfont or VST?
So I'm starting an AnguraKei band, and I have most of the need soundfonts for Japanese instruments. The thing is, I cannot find a good Shakuhachi soundfont. Almost all of them have Vibrato, which is always off time (Unless you're making some crappy new age music). I'd like to know where I can get a good one though. NO AUTOMATIC VIBRATO. NOTHING THAT WILL MAKE ME PAY MONEY. And NO CHINESE INSTRUMENTS. NO DIZI OR XIAO, DON'T EVEN TRY TELLING ME THEY SOUND THE SAME. I'd prefer if the soundfont was something like the one used in Memento Mori's "Sagamiya" (https://youtu.be/CijI2hOyJFA)

Here is a free wonderful Shakuhachi, with no vibrato, as well as staccato samples, available in Abelton, Kontakt, SFZ, and more formats (you can easily convert SFZ into SF2). , However, you do have to register but that is also free. http://store.samplephonics.com/products/shakuhachi
Enjoy!

If it's available in SFZ format, maybe the best plan would be to use the Zerberus SFZ player supplied with MuseScore - assuming it works of course.
I will try to make time to ascertain this, give info on any hacks that might be required.
