Tie Command Didn't Work with 1.0
I was unable to enter a tie with 1.0.
I had to open 9.6.3 to enter the tie.

Can you reproduce in a new score ? How do you enter a tie ?
Ties work for me as described in the handbook (see tie ).
(tested using MuseScore 1.0, Windows XP)

The one known (to me) problem involving ties is when tying notes within chords in Note Entry mode - that doesn't work. Each time you try to add a new tie to a chord while in Note Entry mode, the previous one disappears, or something like that (search/browse around - there are a few existing discussions on the problem of ties in chords that describe it in more detail). So you have to create the two chords separately, then leave Note entry mode and tie the notes one by one that way.
I'm not sure what I was doing wrong, but the tie command in 1.0 is working fine now.
