Version 1.0 - rest input cause playback to start
When I try to input a rest in a treble cleff piano score using voice 2 (green) the green cursor moves to before the previous note and playback starts. The same sees to happen in voice 1 (blue). I've tested it. When I press the spacebar to input a rest the blue cursor goes back to the start of the bar and playback starts. Is this a change in Version 1.0 or am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in Version 1.0? If its a bug, how do I roll back to a previous version?

I have followed these links on the websiteto try to reload a previous version of Musescore:
Previous Issues > 0.9.6 > Direct download for > Windows
but this produces a window that offers version 1.0 as a download rather than version 0.9.6.
Is Version 0.9.6 still availavle for download? And if so how?
It's not a bug... Behavior has changed. Space starts the playback like in any other audio software and 0 enters a rest.
See Note entry .
Downgraded is discouraged. We worked hard to make MuseScore 1.0 better and more stable than the precedent versions.
All version of MuseScore from the beginning are still available for download :

That's really good news.
I thought I was in serious trouble.
I must remember to read the new handbook when I upgrade my software!
Many thanks for the help.

If you prefer the old shortcut you can change them back as described in the handbook. See Keyboard shortcuts .
