potential beats in measure bug
Hi,
Created this score and everything was going fine until I inserted a partial measure before a "double repeat" bar (i.e. :||: see 3rd line of attached score). The measure after the repeat now will only accept an eighth note even though the measure properties reports duration of 2/2 (see screen shot). Any ideas?

That's the definition of a corrupted measure—see http://musescore.org/en/node/54721 to fix it. The question is, how did that happen? Can you reproduce the problem? If so, please share step-by-step instructions so the developers can track down the bug.

Hi Zack,
Thanks for the pointer. It does seem corrupted, but it didn't get that way from me opening a bad XML or earlier version Muscore score. Rather, that happened while I was using 2.0 to create a score in the 1st place.
I don't remember exactly what I did, and have since moved on (deleted measures on either side and inserted new ones fixed for me), but roughly, it was as follows:
1. created 16 bar score in 2/2
2. inserted breaks every 4 bars
3. put double repeat sign at end of 8th bar, i.e. :||:
4. entered 1st 8 bars.
5. realized 8th bar was an incomplete measure. told muscore actual duration was 3/4 (kept bar number in bar count)
6. inserted a measure before bar 9 and informed muscore it had duration of 1/4 (and to not include it in number count). put notes in that partial measure.
7. next bar (which would be bar 9) now contained single eighth note even though properties showed it was actually 2/2
at that point, i grabbed a screen shot to show you what score displayed like (and what the problematic bars properties were), attached the score, and reported the bug.
