XML open crash
I have no idea what I'm doing but with help from Google I installed Audiveris so I converted PDF to XML. But when I try to open the XML file in MuseScore it crashes. (Of course I googled it and tried to figure it out from other people with the same problem but I couldn't fix anything.) What can I do?

The XML file is full of errors. There are many rests of 0 duration, bar-style tags missing the first part of the line etc. I used BlueFush editor and managed to change things enough to get MuseScore to open it but it's still a corrupted file and the score is, essentially, an unusable mess. The problem lies with Audiveris.

If the PDF is generated by a notational software you can try the link in the top right of this page
If the conversion works, you can download the file * .mscz etc.

of course I tried it, but it doesn't work for any of my PDFs :(
