connection Musescore-Jack
Hello everyone, I'm just having a little problem. I use JACK a lot to connect many different sound programs in TangoStudio (linux). With JACK running, I open Musescore, fine. but when I load a score to hear it or work with it, sound and midi disconnect from Musescore and JACK. Any ideas? Thanks

Which version of MuseScore and Jack are you using ?
Do you expect MuseScore to send the MIDI or the audio to Jack? What are your Edit -> preferences -> I/O in MuseScore?

First of all, my apologies to lasconic for my late answer, been busy at work and without internet for a while. Sorry. I'm using MS 1.0 and jackd 0.3.6. I found that, with Jack installed on the computer and NOT runnig, MS works fine but some windows appear blank (empty), such as the Save pop up window. If Jack is running (and MS thru jack), then I can not use my MIDI keyboard as entry note method, I think it's somthing about Portaudio-Jack. Either way, on a linux-audio distro (like this TangoStudio), there is no way to get MS fully operational. Any ideas?
My I/O preferences: see screen captures
I want MS to work on midi note entry mode, and get the sound out to jack. And the windows to work properly.
By the way, is this normal: I play a chord on the midi keyboard and MS writes it properly, but only One of the notes sounds. Usig the playback button all notes sound.
Thank you very much for the forum support

Both are known problems or feature requests :
See #6324: Either playback via Jack or midi input via Portaudio but not at the same time. It has been solved for next release by using Jack MIDI as input. Is that something that will work for you ?
See #5358: Play the whole chord when you add a new note
