Cannot Read File

I recently finished an arrangement that I worked several days on and now I cannot open it. I've spent the past hour looking on the forums to see if there was a way to get it back. I tried what some of the posts said, and It may have been my lack of savvy in computers, but nothing seemed to work. Was wondering if anyone on here could help me. Thanks:)
