MuseScore 4 Handbook

This handbook tells you everything you need to know about how to use the world’s most popular music notation program, MuseScore Studio, which is freely available for Windows, macOS, and Linux-based operating systems.

New Handbook

We're currently working on a new Handbook in GitBook, which will replace this handbook shortly. Links to the old handbook will gradually be updated to point to the new one.

Please note, the new handbook is currently only available in English, but community translation will be enabled soon to make it available in other languages. If you'd like to help with translations of the new handbook, please join our Transifex project, which is also used for translations of MuseScore Studio itself.
