BUG? Moving notes from bass to treble staff loses flags, leaves ties behind

Working on an Einaudi piece, where, in measure 37, there's a bit that runs from the bass to the treble staff. So I created the bit on the bass staff, selected the five E notes (and their ties) that need to move to treble, and pressed Shift-Ctrl-Up.

The Es jumped to their appropriate position in the treble staff. However, their flags vanished, and their ties were left behind in bass. So I'm left with two orphan ties in bass, and a row of apparent quarter-Es in treble (see image).

Looks like a bug to me...
