MuseScore crashes when trying to enter text in a horizontal frame inside a vertical frame

Version: MuseScore 3.4.2 (AppImage)
OS.: Ubuntu 20.04

To replicate:
1. Create a new score from scratch or use the default "Title" score. Leave everything at the default settings (it doesn't seem to matter which instrument you choose if creating a new score).
2. Go to Add -->Frames-->Append Vertical Frame
3. Right click in the newly-created vertical frame and choose Add-->Insert Horizontal Frame
4. Right click in the horizontal frame and choose Add-->Text
Expected result: as described and pictured in the last image of point 4. here: https://musescore.org/en/node/24475
Actual result: The entire score disappears (you may need to scroll up and down first)! Then hit Ctrl+Z to undo and MuseScore itself disappears (i.e. it crashes with no warning message).
