How to Add MuseScore to Favorites bar in Ubuntu?
As it is, MuseScore is an .AppImage on the desktop
I tried these and they don't work:

Did you run the MuseScore AppIMage with the "install" option? That is usually a necessary first step.

I don't see an install option. I did change it to executable. Is that what you mean?
I want to be clear that I can run MuseScore using the AppImage on the desktop.

If you're following the install instructions for the AppImage from right here on this website, it's the last step, listed as optional, but this is why you shouldn't think of it that way. Basically, just run the AppImage from the command line with followed by the word "install". This creates the necessary desktop file etc.
