Guitar Pro Export
I am having trouble importing MusicXML files from MuseScore transcriptions into Guitar Pro, this has been mentioned before but this issue may be different, I think you may have to set something up in MuseScore to help Guitar Pro read the notes in correctly.
see the results below.

If GuitarPro has issue with MusicXML, it is them to fix this.
Being a propriatary format MuseScore won't export to Guitar Pro directly

I have managed to do many converts of a similar nature from MuseScore via musicXML to guitar pro, it's like it's tripping up over a few bars in this case, I was hoping someone may look into it and figure out the issue, I have tried deleting certain bars but it doesn't help in this case.
although not supported it should be possible to find the issue and disable the bars, if someone could pinpoint the issue.
I have a long complex one that didn't have any issues importing into Guitar Pro, I have provided it below, it will import with no issues from the MusicXML, maybe someone can compare the two and find the issue.

Which version of GP are you using? Exactly which few bars does it trip up over? If you reduce the score to just those bars does it still trip up?

GP7.5.1, you can see what it does with my uploads, I have tried removing issues with bars before, usually I have gotten that to work and then fix the broken one with a MIDI import with a cleanup of my own.
in this case I can't even do that.

Can you replicate the issue with only a few bars, e.g. 4 or so where it's tripping up? If you can share these bars as a normal .mscz file I can generate the MusicXML and take a look. It's not clear whether this is a problem in the XML file or in its interpretation by GP.

it will be the interpration of GP, here is the MuseScore, you can generate it if you like then import into GP7
Again though the question, if this is a GP7 import problem, why not contact them?

Agreed. I was only going to look at the MusicXML to see if there was a problem with it.
@microman: If you already know that the issue is with GP then it would make sense to contact their tech support. They should be best placed to find the issue and fix it.

I have made contact with them, they may update guitar pro to import MusicXML better later, If you could figure it out it would be useful to have a solution i can do today until that update.

I generated the MusicXML file from MS and loaded it into GP6 and it didn't trip up anywhere. It also seems to play better. For example, in MS the first half of the first complete bar highlights the notes but doesn't play them. GP6 plays them.
Where does it trip up?
Edit: I got the silent notes to play. There is a huge dynamic change at the start of this bar so that I couldn't hear those really quiet notes. Turning the volume up, I could hear them but the other notes were then unbearably loud.

can you attach your GP6 file so i can open it on mine to see if it's fixed on my end? it's mostly broke in GP7, i have uploaded the file in the original thread topic.

hmm, interesting, when I open in GP7 everything is mostly fine, seems I need to install GP6 to import these MusicXML files.

It might be worth sending the GP7 and GP6 files to their tech support so that they can see the difference.
