*.mscz treated as *.zip on Linux Mate
I have two computers running linux Mate. I've been using Musescore with no problems on one. I tried using the other today, and ran into a problem. All my .mscz files show up as zip files, even though the filename extension is correct. The computer tries to open them as zip and fails. So I set Open As to Musescore, but that fails as well. If I save a Musescore file from Musescore on that computer, it shows up with the wrong icon. However, from the Recent Files dialogue, when I start Musescore, it will open that file. I tried deleting the filename extension (as described here: https://musescore.org/en/node/12385) but that made no difference.

mscz files are zip files, technically.
Open As to MuseScore "fails" how? Because that should be the user friendly way to set up file associations.

And now they open! The icon still shows up as a zip file, but the files open correctly from within the application!
Problem 99% solved.

Here (OS: Linux Mint 20, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.5.0, revision: 43c5553): right click->Open with and associate the version of MsS that you use.
Operation to be done once, even if the icon will continue to be

That was the first thing I tried. Twice, with two different files. At first, it made no difference. After several other tries and restarts, I can now open these files correctly in Musescore, although they still appear as zip file icons.
