Help scoring bar from Telemann Fantasia in Gm
I am re-arranging this piece to play on guitar but am having trouble with bar 18. The piece is in 3/4 time but bar 18 doesn't seem to fit with this - but I know that it's my mis-interpretation. I have checked this piece on YouTube videos and it's just the same so any clarification would be appreciated.

Thanks for that. I've read through it twice but I don't understand it. Maybe it would help if I played piano but I only play guitar. Is it saying that some of these notes actually belong to the bass clef but are being shown in the treble clef? I could score them as 2 voices in the treble and I guess it doesn't matter which notes I assign to each voice.

If you select the bottom piano measure, you will see the cross staff notes and rests in the top staff turn blue. You can select them and press ctrl+shift+ down arrow to move them back to the bottom staff. (ctrl+r might work also, but I don't remember and didn't check).

I only have access to the score for playback on the ms.com website. To me, bar 18 looks like it has 4 beats but I know it only has 3 because it sounds right.

Download the score. It was created in version 2, but it'll still open in version 3, especially for what you are doing.

Shoichi kindly made a test score which brought clarity.

Ah! Now I see it. Being able to select the bars in MS shows clearly what's going on. Thanks to both of you for pointing me in the right direction and making a test score. :-)
