Well, I though you can see it.
When you press F8 to got the menu for the first time, it is ok. Then you click on the tiny little button on the right and all the contenu disappert.
Which exact version of MuseScore (Help > About), whar operating system?

What happens if you select any element in the score?
The Inspector is empty, if nothing is selected
It reappears! Hurray!
the <> has completly diseapper. I don't know how to bring be back (the capture I made was from another box, just to show you)
Double clock the title bar to dock it again.
Directly after start and with nothing selected though without the text "Nothing selected" once something got selected and unselected though that text shows. This is independent from whether it is docked or not.
This lack of the "Nothing selected" text might indeed be a bug, but if anything then a very Minor one.
