musescore closing everytime it opens
I just downloaded Musescore 3.5.2, and every time I open it, it says "previous session closed unexpectedly, would you like to restore last session?" No matter if I press no, yes, or the x, it closes anyway. I have tried restarting the computer, but it still does the same thing.

I tried the -F and the -R options from the CMD and the result is the same as the original comment, it closes after the message.
Windows 10 64bits

try -w (small w the F and R are capitals) to see if that fixes it. After that I'm at a loss. You might be the rare case where uninstall reinstall will fix the problem.
I have the same problem. Hopefully a patch is coming.

Someone who can fix it needs to understand what's happening. Which Operating system are you on? Also, one more thing, try to start MuseScore by double clicking a score to see if that makes it start.
Try starting by double clicking a score. If that works, go to Edit > Preferences > General and disable the startcenter.

Which version are you using. It shouldn't be necessary in 3.5.2 which was release a couple of days ago. If the auto update isn't being reported in MuseScore it will in the next couple of days. You can get it now at https://musescore.org/en/download

It is available via autoupdate since yesterday.
#275837: MuseScore crashes during start-up while displaying "Start center" should have been fixed there, but still that possible workaround of starting MuseScore via double check and disable startcenter is still worth a try

Darn, we really hoped that code change in 8293210975 for 3.5.1 to have fixed it
Bug!
The new version, 3.5.2.311459983 doesn't start unless I open a saved file, otherwise, doesn't start but just the musescore welcome window, asking if I want to create a new file, or restore the last action then shuts down immediately

Use the workaround and disable Edit > Preferences > Startcenter
