Shortcut for "Close without saving"
Is there a way to set a shortcut for the prompt
"save changes to the score xxxxx before closing?"
"Close w/out saving" - "Cancel" - "Save"
Cancel and Save have a shortcut
"Close without saving" no !
THANKS
MS is running on Linux.

I don't think so, but like the idea.

It's a bit dangerous though. I think we would start getting posts along the lines of "I accidentally closed MuseScore without saving and now my n month's work has gone. Why isn't there a warning?". But perhaps if there is a command that could be assigned to a shortcut, a user could make the assignment if they want to live dangerously.

a Menu entry "Quit without saving", with a customizable shortcut, is self-explanatory enough here. It should of course not be the default

Doesn't this already (sort of) exist?

On mine (linux Mint) it SAVEs the file, being "save" the default/selected button,
Ctrl+Q,Tab,Enter: works like a charm.

Not if you have a changed score open

As I said 2020 - 22:21 under the topic "Closing score without confirming" for my
current workflow an option do something like this would be a huge improvement.
"In my current workflow I generate musicxml scores in Python (using the SCAMP library)
and open them in Musescore. I generate a loot of small examples that I mostlyonly briefly
read and/or listens to.
Every time the score is closed (and in that case just thrown away) it asks me if i really want
to "close without saving". While this is perfect in almost all cases of normal use it would in
my case (with this particular workflow) make better sense just to close it.
Maybe you could consider making an option to close without asking that could be activated
in some preferences menu.
Likewise if i have some 15 small scores open I have to answer the same question many times
when i end the program.
Just to be clear: I'm not asking for any changes for normal use only for my (and maybe some
others) little odd case.
Thank you, keep up the good work I really appreciate it."
