Unable to click inside Search box in Open File dialog
I recently updated to Version: 3.5.2.312126096 [Rev. 465e7b6]
OS: macOS High Sierra (10.13), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.5.2.312126096, revision: 465e7b6
Now, when I select certain .mscz files, I am not able to click in the search box to find a file.
Specifically, I am not able to even click inside the search box with the two files I downloaded from one of the forums here. I have attached them, as well.

I think it's a problem with your Mac.
Try with https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings
Then restart your Mac

My Mac is fine. If it was the computer, it would happen with other apps. In this case, withing Musescore, it's only happening with these two particular files. If I open other Musescore files I have, it doesn't happen.
MuseScore has no control whatsoever over how your computer finds or doesn't find files. Probably there is something wrong with the folder or fileitself - like a weird invisible character in the name or something.

It only happens with those two files. No problem since everything else works fine. Thanks for your reply.

Then try renaming those two files - like I said, there seems to be a problem with the files themselves based on your description. In any case, again, there is no possible way MuseScore can be preventing your f.ile finder from working. Even if we wanted to, I don't think there would be a way to corrupt the behavior of macOS like that.

Marc,
It seems I may have encountered either a bug in Musescore or some odd setting. Here is what I discovered.
It isn't exclusive to those two files Ias I had originally thought. It is with every file, but only under a specific condition. If I have the Mixer in view, as long as no voice/track is expanded, all works as it should. But the moment I expand any voice/track, then the search field becomes unusable/unclickable.
I have attached a short video clip demonstarting the issue.

OK, it could well be indeed that with the particular version of MuseScore you are using on your system, certain dialog boxes take full keyboard focus. I know some experimental pre-release builds of 3.6 do this in some cases. I can't reproduce any issue like that on my system, but if that is what is going on yours, it wouldn't be just Finder that is affected - MuseScoire is just taking full focus, like a blocking dialog box.
As I said, I can't reproduce on my system in a current build, so maybe when the 3.6 beta comes out within the next days, try that. If it still is an problem then, please file a bug report to the issue tracker here using the Support menu above.

Marc,
Thank you.
