How to "tie' together
Hello,
I have composed a Sonata in the three traditional movements for cello and piano.
However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to "tie" them together as one piece, i..e. one composition or as one mscz. They are presently in three pieces (movements) in the mscz format.
Maybe I cannot find the answer because I am not looking in the right part of the manual or maybe one cannot do it with this software. I am using version 3.4.2.9

If they are in 3 files, then there is no way to do this automatically in version 3. The album feature should be back in version 4.
As mentioned, there is no direct way to combine them after the fact within MuseScore currently, but you can easily combine exported PDF's later using any of a variety of free tools for that purpose.
For future reference, it's usually better to develop the movements together in one file if you intend to present them together. In the old days MuseScore couldn't handle large scores well but those days are gone.

Thank you all for your responses. I thought I was loosing it, having combined movements of other works in earlier software releases. :)
I think for now I will combine my new work into one score but separate the movements. it's to bad that the Album feature was dropped. Hopefully it will be back in a future release.
I probably will also generate pdf's and then combine them as well.

Don't forget, one thing you can do is to alter the beginning page numbers of the subsequent movements, so that the the 2nd mvt. begins in m13, say, and the 3rd. on m17 (under Page Settings). At least when printed out, they will run consecutively. And of course, you can save the individual files together in a sub-folder.
