Guitar TAB articulations?
Hi everyone,
I'm looking through the palettes for some guitar articulations ( half/whole step bends and slides and alternative tuning indications) without having much success.
Does anyone know if these features are available?
Thanks,
Jeremy

Thanks Jojo - I found both. How about alternative tuning (open D) indication?

Ok but that won't then play back in the actual tuning would it...
it would be great the song could play back/sound as intended but maybe that's not possible
Thanks

You can edit the string data (tuning) in Staff/Part Properties.
See:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/staff-part-properties#plucked-string-…
Also, string tuning can be shown as text added into a horizontal frame:
Example:

Perfect thanks for this...makes transcription so much easier when it sounds right.
Apologies - but can you tell how you made the horizontal frame? I tried to use yours but it wouldn't paste.
Thanks again.

As well, while i'm here - do you know of a way to reduce the thickness of the vibrato line? In staff properties I could only alter position....it seems almost everything in musescore is customisable but I can't find this. You can see what I mean in the attachment...
Thanks very much

It is drawn using a SMuFL glyph, and as such follows whatever Musical (Text) Font you are using and its width can't get changed.
We might want it so scale along with the notes it is attached too, although here it'd be difficult, as there is a normal and a small one

Yes, there were two to choose from...nevermind if it can't be changed, it's not a big deal. I just thought that there would probably be a way to change it.
Thanks for the help

For vibrato line...
Use menu item: Format -> Score and change the Musical symbols font to 'Gonville'.

Thanks. Couldn't find that menu entry but changing the colour helped a lot.

Try Format / Style / Score.

Thanks Mark - when I go to Format in upper tabs....only 'text styles' is available...then 'score' is nowhere to be seen. Am i looking in the wrong place?

That is the last entry, you need the first
Thanks everyone for the help.
