Converting notes into triplets
Hello, I have followed the instructions to convert my crotchet into three quavers, however it keeps adding extra notes to the bar instead of converting them. What am I doing wrong?

Check which mode you are using.

Ok, thank Shoichi for your help. I am totally new to Musescore so even the language is new to me so pointing me to the Modes helped. I've resolved the problem by clicking on Real Time Manual! Thank you!!!

Hmm, unless you are actuallty using real-time MIDI input - and have read the documentation and watched the tutorial videos to understand how it works - that's probably not what you want. 99.9% of the time you should normally be entering notes in step-time mode, the default for note input. Only if you have very special reasons to deviate from that should you be considering it.
