It opens for me without problem in 3.6.1 .

My version is 3.6.0. I rebooted, downloaded the file from this thread, same issue. Musescore crashes immediately when I try to open it. I can open Musescore just fine by itself.
I think I know what the issue might be? If you would , open the file, delete the blank vocal lines from the Instruments, save it, and post it here so I can re-download it? That's the last thing I added before I saved. I'll see if I can update Musescore in the meantime.
I appreciate your help!!
edit: I'm on 3.6.0.487915773 and I can't update. I can uninstall and reinstall, so I'll do that.

This one : #315529: MuseScore 3.6 crashes on open of a file with start repeat in continuous view

Of course. I though I had checked that, but apparently did not
As BSG says, opens fine in 3.6.1 so likely to be a bug in 3.6.0 but which has now been fixed.
OS: Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.1.515740129, revision: d0fc8e9

It appears you are correct. Just downloaded and installed the latest version and it opens. As I said before "WHEW" heh. :)
