to much beats in bar
Hello, this is my first project in musecore so i'm really sorry that this is probably a stupid question. I changed the time signature to 2/4 but when I press ctrl + shift + note it adds anothe rbeat and instead of moving to the next bar after 2 beats, it still writes it in the same bar, resulting in a never ending bar. How can I fix this?

Simple: don't use Ctrl+Shift+note, as that inserts notes into a measure, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/note-input#insert-notes

OK I found the note input mode, thanks!! But I already wrote quite a bit with the Crtl+Shift+Note so is there a way to add bars between what I already wrote?

Yes, Ctrl drag barlines into place, from the barlinea palette

And one last question, it seems that the last bar I wrote has another few pauses that are out of the line, and I can't delete them or write notes on them, see screenshot.
