Unsure of how to make my rhythm fit measure
Trying to fit rhythm shown in screenshot 1 to my score in screenshot 2, not sure of how to make this work while staying in 4/4 time.

Measure duration could work, however in this case this is a piano score, and the bottom line needs to stay in 4/4.

here in SC3 (reference score) and my score (SC4) I'm displaying a better scope of the project.

SC3 is just plain wrong, looks like a typographical error. Those last two notes on the top staff are not dotted quarters at all - they are dotted eighths. Just look at how they line up with the bottom staff - each takes the same time as three sixteenths.

Thanks Marc! I fiddled around with it a bit, I came to the same conclusion.
Well, the first has more than 4 beats, it's kind of going to be up to you to decide how you want to change the rhythm - which notes you want to make shorter, or which notes you would rather get rid of entirely.

Marc: thanks for the advice - however, I'm trying to make this measure look more like SC3 and SC4, (found in my other replies)

I can't help but question your reference score. How would this measure be played? Have you heard a recording?
