View Single Instrument in Piano View
Hello,
Even if I choose parts for single instruments, I still see all notes in piano bar below (P). I want to see note input from a specific set of instruments there. Is it possible?

Yeah, sorry, Raymond.
There is a piano bar — visual representation of a piano keyboard. The hotkey for showing it is P, if I remember correctly.
When I press play, the notes I wrote in the score are being shown there as the song progresses. My problem is that it shows the notes of every instrument, including drums, which is distracting. I want to see what my harmonic instruments are playing, because I can’t read notes well enough, and the piano view helps me a lot.
Hope it’s a bit more clear now, sorry, kind of hard for me to explain.

Generate parts then save as new score (single instrument)?

Is that really the only way to do it? That seems really...hacky. I have the same problem. I want to hear the whole piece during playback, but only view two specific instruments on the piano view at the bottom of the screen. This seems like it would just be a thing...

It's important to realize the main intent of the piano keyboard is as an aid to note input. Originally I don't think it did anything at all for playback, as I don't think it was ever considered as something that people might like to do. But, now that people have discovered it's a useful thing, then indeed, finding ways to make it even more useful for that secondary purpose is worthwhile. So, worth submitting to the Issue tracker a Suggestion for sure.

I wonder if it was submitted, not being able to filter the instruments for the built-in piano keyboard playback is like an unfinished job after all that has been done, if would be very useful if we had another column of check boxes in edit-instruments to choose what to see.
